Each revised quotation provides a detailed description of the proposed work, with only items explicitly stated included in the project scope.

The written quotation provided is inclusive of all discussed works, encompassing both labor and materials, along with any additional expenses and taxes. Any modifications to the agreed-upon scope of work, whether due to unforeseen circumstances or changes initiated by you, will necessitate a revised written quotation. You retain the option to accept or reject the revised quotation. Should you opt to decline, work will cease, and upon receiving our invoice, payment in full for all completed tasks as per the original quotation will be required.

Customer Obligations

If both parties agree that you will take on the responsibility of supplying the measurements for some or all of the necessary materials and/or products for the project, you will be solely accountable for the cost of replacing these materials and/or products should inaccuracies arise in the measurements provided.

If both parties mutually agree that you will be responsible for supplying all or part of the materials and products required for the project, you will solely assume the cost of replacement should these materials or products be deemed defective or inappropriate.

Prior to commencing the work, please inform us of any known or suspected hazards in or around the premises where the work is scheduled to take place.

You will provide us with access to the premises where the work is scheduled to take place and ensure that all required consents, permissions, and licenses, if applicable, have been secured before the commencement of the project.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure storage of any materials and equipment left on the premises with your permission during the project. Moreover, you will be held accountable for any loss of or damage to such materials and equipment.

Supplier Obligations

We commit to executing the tasks with utmost care, skill, and diligence, ensuring completion within a reasonable timeframe, and guaranteeing compliance with all relevant laws and regulations at all times.

We will provide high-quality materials and/or products required for the project. Without affecting the previous point, we will fully take responsibility for replacing any faulty or substandard materials and/or products.

We are committed to the proper maintenance of your property, including furnishings and wall coverings. Upon finishing the project, we will clear away any resulting waste material as agreed upon during the initial quotation period.

We will assign one or more members of our dedicated team to carry out the required tasks for you. Unless specified otherwise, the individuals provided will be chosen at our discretion and may differ from those who initially gave you the estimate or quote.

Materials and Products

To avoid any confusion, all materials and/or products provided to you during the project will be owned by craftsman pro until you have settled the full payment as stated in our invoice. Ownership of these materials and/or products will only transfer to you upon receipt of full payment.

Force Majeure

None of the involved parties shall be held accountable for delays or the inability to fulfill their obligations outlined in these Terms when such occurrences stem from factors beyond their control. These factors encompass acts of God, fires, governmental interventions, challenges in sourcing raw materials or supplies, labor disputes, and any other unforeseeable events.

Cancellation

You have the right to end the service contract within 14 days of accepting the quote, but services provided during this period require payment. Cancellation needs written approval and may incur costs for associated losses.

Payments

The payment terms, along with any installment details, are outlined in the provided quotation. To clarify, you agree to settle undisputed invoices within 7 days of receipt. Moreover, you agree to charge an administrative fee of 5% on overdue payments that do not meet these terms or those specified in the relevant quotation. Payments can be made via bank transfer, online payment link, or other agreed methods, with detailed instructions provided in the invoice.

Complaints

DEPOSIT

To secure a booking with craftsman pro, a 5% non-refundable deposit of the full quoted amount is required upon acceptance of the estimate. An additional 40% non-refundable deposit is due two weeks before work commences unless specified in the quotation. Payment of the deposit signifies the customer agreement to the terms outlined in the latest quotation revision unless otherwise stated.

PAYMENT TERMS

Craftsman pro typically requires a 55% non-refundable deposit of the initial estimate price two weeks before work begins, with the remaining balance due as per the quotation and project completion.

LATE PAYMENTS

Overdue payments will incur administrative works charge at a rate of 3% per month from the due date until the payment date, even if the account is under dispute.

DISPUTES

Disputes about invoices or work must be raised in writing within five days of the invoice date; otherwise, payment is due, and disputes will be handled internally with accruing cost.

VARIATIONS AND EXTRAS

Before starting any unforeseen work or variations, it is essential to reach an agreement, ideally with fixed quotations. In cases where fixed quotations are not possible, a day rate of MVR 75.00 per hour for carpentry work will apply, along with materials at cost plus 15%.

DECORATION

Quotations do not include decoration unless specified otherwise.

DURATION OF WORKS

The estimated completion time provided before commencing work is an approximation, and any delays are not the responsibility of Craftsman Pro.

RUBBISH DISPOSAL

While the cost of disposing of unwanted items is typically covered in the quotation, hazardous waste removal like asbestos or gas canisters is not the responsibility of Craftsman Pro.

WORKSPACE

Clients should provide enough workspace for the craftsman pro, keeping the area clear of personal items unless specified otherwise. Although dust sheets and professional tools with dust extraction ports will be supplied, clients should anticipate some minimal settling of fine dust.

MEDIA

Craftsman Pro retains the right to utilize project progress images for marketing unless the client specifies otherwise at the project's start.
